At NaturaInvest, we continue to strengthen our team with experts who contribute to the development of sustainable finance in Chile and the region.

We are pleased to announce the addition of Isabel Torres as an associate researcher for the project.

Isabel holds a PhD in Economic Development, a Master’s degree in International Accounting, and is a Certified Public Accountant and Auditor. She is currently an associate professor in the Department of Accounting and Auditing at the University of Santiago de Chile.

Her work focuses on sustainable finance and natural capital accounting, addressing how to integrate nature into corporate financial statements, as well as the development of tax instruments aimed at conservation.

In addition, she coordinates the academic network RELES (Latin American Network for Sustainability Studies) and has contributed to the development of the guide “Natural Resources and Business: A Guide to the Strategic Management of Natural Capital,” created within the framework of the Public-Private Roundtable of the Chilean Government’s Natural Capital Committee.

Her addition reinforces our commitment to generating applied knowledge to advance toward an economy that recognizes the value of nature.
