Jul 30, 2025

As part of the 2nd Meeting of the Latin American Impact & Sustainable Finance Chapter (Faculty Consortium at Kellogg), held on February 26 and 27 in Pereira, international academics participated in a visit to the Arca Ambiental environmental education program in Risaralda, an initiative that promotes learning about territory, biodiversity, and sustainability through field experiences.
During the tour, participants explored the historical and cultural components of the Coffee Cultural Landscape, along with the program's mission, the territorial context, and the subregions of the department. The day also addressed key issues such as climate variability and change, connecting these challenges with educational and local development processes.
The activity was part of the exchange sessions of the meeting, which brought together teachers and experts from Latin America to discuss sustainable finance and impact investment in the region. Hugo Benedetti, Rodrigo Arriagada, and Alejandra Engler participated in this visit on behalf of NaturaInvest.
The event was valued as an opportunity to strengthen academic exchange and learn about regional experiences that contribute to the development of solutions in sustainability and nature in Latin America.
