𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 & 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, an annual event that took place this year at Maastricht University’s School of Business and Economics.

The conference brought together academics, practitioners, and industry professionals to discuss sustainable finance and impact investing, creating a space for exchange on the main 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐢́𝐨𝐬, 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬 that it faces in the transition toward more sustainable development.

Throughout the meeting, relevant discussions took place regarding the role of industry, financial institutions, and academia in mobilizing capital toward solutions that integrate environmental, social, and governance criteria. Among the topics discussed were ethical analysis applied to the use of artificial intelligence, financing for natural capital and biodiversity, ways to improve social impact and generate community wealth, as well as the refinement of portfolio management and bank financing models.
